Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Is What An Off-Roading Supercar Looks Like
The Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato is a new version of the Hurac á. The car has an increased ground clearance of 47 mm. The 52-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine produces a cool 630bhp. The drive systems have been made to the new LDVI system.
Have you ever looked at a Lamborghini and wondered how such a low ground clearance could ever operate in the real world, especially in a country like India? Well, it seems Lamborghini just gave it a thought too and having realised the issue has unveiled a whole new version of the Hurac¨¢n. A version that doesn¡¯t just claim to conquer the regular potholes on the road but also the areas off the road network. Say hello to the Lamborghini Hurac¨¢n Sterrato!
A look at the car and just like any other Lamborghini make, you might start swooning over its design. Only this one looks much more rad and bullish than the regular Lamborghinis. A design that would definitely inspire you to take on the irregular terrains instead of driving cautiously over each speed bump.

The bullish nature can be seen in the bulked up body, increased suspension, off-road wheels and tyres. The rest of the design language has been carried off from the Lamborghini Hurac¨¢n Evo. So is the performance factors, including the 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine producing a cool 630bhp.
This, however, does not mean that the car is similar to drive. Considerable changes have been made to the drive systems, thanks to the new LDVI system (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) dedicated for off-road performance. The engineers at Lamborghini says that the new system ¡°provides enhanced rear-wheel-drive behaviour, producing more torque together with additional stabilisation in over-steer manoeuvres¡±. So if you were to gas the pedals during over-steering, the new Lamborghini Hurac¨¢n Sterrato won¡¯t break a sweat.

As for the changes made to the Hurac¨¢n Sterrato, the off-roading supercar comes with an increased ground clearance of 47 mm. This naturally results in an increased departure angle and front approach for easier hill climb. The front and back tracks have been widened by 30 mm, new wide-body wheel arches have been appointed that also come with integrated air intakes, all to make way for 20-inch wheels with ¡°balloon¡± tyres.
Since the car is meant to take off-roading routes, its under-body has been reinforced. Skid plates at the front and rear, aluminium parts at the front frame and carbon fibre/elastomeric resin mud guards have been used for increased protection. The engine and air intakes have been protected by stone-deflecting material.

On the inside, the Hurac¨¢n Sterrato sports a specially-designed interior trim, a new lightweight titanium roll cage, four-point seat belts to the new carbon bi-shell sports seats and aluminium floor panels.
An interesting addition is an LED light package, comprising of a roof-mounted LED light bar and LED bumper lights with flood function to help the driver see in the dark in off-road scenarios.
Lamborghini has purpose built the Hurac¨¢n Sterrato for off-roading, empowering it with the capabilities of a supercar that has been previously known as the Hurac¨¢n Evo. If you think about it though, a better yet use-case for the one-of-a-kind spin off would be the potholes and speed bumps filled roads of the real world.
