World's Craziest Pizzas

1. Caviar Pizza

What's garnished with fish eggs, lobster tail, wasabi and trout roe on a loaf of bread, and cooked? A Caviar Pizza, of course! And how much does it cost? A measly $1000 that will lighten your bank balance. Brainchild of New York restaurateur Nino Selimaj, someone who's keen on serving the elites in NY concocted this one and it seems it's a delicacy amongst the rich masses.

2. Mizza

Rice Pizza or Mizza is a recipe from the Koreans who love to inculcate local cuisine in weird and funny ways. The Mizza is a pizza with a thick rice layer topped off with cheese and the usual assortment of veggies and meats. You have to give them credit for this brilliant innovation to cater the local market.

3. Sausage Bacon and Cheese Crust

The name got us started. Another brilliant recipe by South Korean Pizza Hut, this one has become a local favorite, and has also gained momentum in Germany! We now patiently await the arrival of this world¡¯s craziest pizza over here with watering eyes and gaping mouths.

4. Spider Pizza

This is where things start going from weird, to bizarre, to downright outrageous! Asians have a way of adding every crawling creature into their cuisine, and this one is no different. If you ask us how a spider pizza came into being, we'd certainly believe that a spider fell on the hot cheese melting pizza and got stuck, and some Asian guy thought it'd be fun to eat it, and well, the rest is history.

5. Scorpion and Snake Pizza

This craziest pizza¡¯s courtesy the Swiss. Its maker Ismail Ertekin, believes a tiny amount of venom is harmless and takes his inspiration from homeopathic remedies has garnished his pizza with scorpions and snakes. Unfortunately for the few who enjoyed this, health officials banned him from serving it to the crowd as it may have posed harm to the consumer.

6. Crocodile and Kangaroo Pizza

This one hails from the land of the Kangaroos. Australia is known for its inhabitable quotient, and the rule is simple, "Eat, or be eaten". Thankfully for the Aussies, they've embraced that rule, and happily devour the crocodiles. When we're served only with chicken, beef, pork and fish, the Aussie chaps tend to indulge in the meat of the dinos and jumping Jacks!

7. Maggot Pizza

In our case, any maggot-infested food is trashed without second thinking, but that isn't the case all over the world, and the picture says it all. It's extremely disturbing, but this one is a delicacy enjoyed in various parts of the world. Maggots are rich in protein and increase our immunity system, and tribes all over the world eat it raw. Maybe some neo-tribes must've thought of doing something whacky and added maggot as their pizza topping, and viola, a new fast food munchie was born! We'll stay away from this craziest pizza.
