Badass Ravi Kumar Vs Loveyapa Box Office Collection Day 4: Which masala entertainer won the first Monday test?
Badass Ravi Kumar and Loveyapa locked horns last Friday at the box office and while both have been underperforming, here's who won the first Monday test. Check out their Day 4 total and worldwide gross.
Badass Ravi Kumar Vs Loveyapa: Last Friday saw several new and old releases coming to theatres and these two were among the fresh ones holding a lot of hope. However, the re-releases took over the big screen by storm but these two are still going underwhelming. But who among these is winning? Here's a detailed box office report of Badass Ravi Kumar Vs Loveyapa Monday collections.
Badass Ravi Kumar Box Office Collection Day 4
After a promising start, this Himesh Reshammiya starrer has also fallen flat on the face. On Day 4, Badass Ravi Kumar managed to earn Rs 6 lakhs which is a 57% decrease from its Day 3 earnings - Rs 1.4 crore. This brings the worldwide total of Rs 8 crore - 33% more than Loveyapa. The survival of both these films seems tough as Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava is ready to arrive this Friday.
Loveyapa Box Office Collection Day 4
This was supposed to be Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan's big theatrical debut, however, all expectations just went in vain. Loveyapa could not even stand a spoof saga like Badass Ravi Kumar and is even way behind the popular re-releases. On Day 4, Loveyapa earned Rs 55 lakhs which makes its total reach Rs 6 crore. Having said that, Chhaava is an even bigger threat to Loveyapa.
Re-releases rule the Indian theatres
2016's film Sanam Teri Kasam has earned over Rs 22 crore in just three days of its re-release and Christopher Nolan's Interstellar is taking big bags home as well. Some old South hits are also occupying the theatres and garnering attention eating away all the new releases like Deva, Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar. Do you think the new makers have lost the spice needed for a movie? Tell us @indiatimes.
