Originally released nine years ago, the film struggled during its first run but is now experiencing an incredible resurgence. While other recent films saw a decline in collections, Sanam Teri Kasam managed to maintain strong momentum, particularly on its fourth day.

Released on February 7, just in time for Valentine's week, the re-release was accompanied by minimal promotion but quickly became a surprise hit. The film has so far earned a total of Rs 22.09 crore net marking the largest-ever opening for a Bollywood re-release. On Day 4, Sanam Teri Kasam exceeded expectations, topping the box office with a Monday collection of Rs 3.52 crore net.
This impressive figure not only outperformed the Monday collections of other films like Sky Force, Deva, Badass Ravikumar, and Loveyapa but also brought its total net collection in just four days to over Rs 22.09 crore¡ªalmost triple its original lifetime earnings.
Initially, Sanam Teri Kasam had a lukewarm reception upon its first release, earning only Rs 9. 1 crore net in its entire theatrical run. However, with this unexpected success, the re-release is expected to continue performing strongly throughout Valentine's week, with projections pointing towards a Rs 30 crore net total by the end of its first week.
However, the release of Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava on February 14, and the added competition from Captain America: Brave New World, could pose a challenge for Sanam Teri Kasam to maintain its impressive hold.
