Looks like Zaira Wasim¡¯s decision to quit Bollywood has shaken things up in India. First, people started debating on Twitter about her decision, then celebrities joined in. While people like Raveena Tandon slammed the ¡°two-films-old¡± for her ¡°regressive¡± views, others including Omar Abdullah supported her choice.
Doesn¡¯t matter if two film olds are ungrateful to the industry that have given them all. Just wish they¡¯d exit gracefully and keep their regressive views to themselves .

And then, it triggered a political debate as well. Just in case you didn¡¯t know, Congress and NC leaders stand in support with the 18-years-old actress. However, Shiv Sena slammed her.
What¡¯s more? Now, it has kickstarted a religious debate as well. Believe it or not, Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha president Swami Chakrapani has praised Zaira Wasim. With that, he also asked other Hindu actresses to take inspiration from her and quit acting.
¡°Actress Zaira's (Wasim) decision to withdraw from films is praiseworthy. Hindu actresses should also take inspiration from Zaira," he tweeted.

Zaira Wasim, known for her roles in Dangal and Secret Superstar, had announced her disassociation with Bollywood in a long Facebook post in which said that ¡°my relationship with my religion was threatened.¡±
"For a very long time now, it has felt like I have struggled to become someone else. As I had just started to explore and make sense of the things to which I dedicated my time, efforts and emotions and tried to grab hold of a new lifestyle, it was only for me to realise that though I may fit here perfectly, I do not belong here," she wrote.
