Season 2 of Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein will soon be streaming on the OTT giant Netflix with familiar lead faces and some new twists and turns added to the storyline. What is the show all about?

Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein is all about Vikrant, who is a simple boy, and how his life changes after the daughter of a powerful politician starts liking him. But wait, where did she meet Vikrant for the first time? The story of one-sided love starts when Vikrant, in search of work, starts his simple, desirable job at the local politician Akeraj's office. Vikrant is also shown dating a girl named Shikha.

Because of Akheraj¡¯s recommendation only, Vikrant in his childhood got into a good school and college, and therefore, his father now wanted him to work for the politician for the rest of his life.

Coming back to Purva, Akheraj¡¯s daughter, who falls in love with Vikrant. She basically went to the same school as Vikrant, and the series shows how she instantly starts liking Vikrant. Unaware of her feelings, Vikrant used to consider her to be his bad luck.

Now taking a leap, after so many years, when Vikrant and Purva are now grown-ups, they meet again, and Purva still feels attracted towards Vikrant. Since Purva is more mature now, she is not ready to be rejected by Vikrant.

What happens next?

Vikrant is shown as a less powerful character than the ladies in the story. Vikrant is scared of all powerful people around him, as he is neither someone very capable in his own right nor an example of hypermasculinity.

Vikrant, who is an extremely average man, is shown struggling with the actions of Purva.

Vikrant has a BFF named Golden:

Vikrant in the show has a best friend named Golden, who works in adult films. Throughout the show, Golden is unsupportive of Vikrant. Even though he helps Vikrant with his plans, he keeps telling him to break up with Shikha and marry Purva to have a rich life.

Vikrant in the show is eventually forced to make some decisions against his will to protect his loved ones, but Golden criticizes him for becoming like the people he used to hate.

Akheraj (played by Saurabh Shukla), who cares a lot about his daughter Purva. Purva and Vikrant eventually marry, but it was against Vikrant's will. Purva in the show is portrayed as the perfect daughter and wife, but there is also a manipulative side of her not much explored in season 1.

Throughout season 1, Vikrant is shown trying to get his life back to be with his love interest, Shikha. The season ends with Shikha (played by Shweta Tripathi Sharma) and a hint of a character she is about to marry. Maybe the character will be talked about more in the upcoming season 2.
