Sumanth and Kajal Choudhary are all set to headline a slice-of-life film titled Anaganaga which is ready for a festive release this year. Here¡¯s everything we know so far about the Telugu family drama.
Anaganaga OTT Release Date: Telugu actor Sumanth who happens to be the eldest grandson of the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao, is set to star in a new family drama. Written and directed by Sunny Sanjay, the film will be released directly on OTT and explores family relationships and the emotional bonds within a middle-class family. Anaganaga will be streaming on ETV Win from March 30, 2025 (Ugadi).
Anaganaga¡¯s plot summary
Anaganaga focuses on the everyday life of a family. Sumanth plays the role of Vyas, a school teacher who is devoted to his family. His character shows the deep connection between family members and the challenges they face together. The film also stars Kajal Choudhary (in her Telugu debut) as Vyas' wife and Viharsh Yadavalli as their son. The teaser shows Sumanth telling a story to children at school, bringing out nostalgia for childhood stories we all remember.

Rudra Madireddy and Rakesh Reddy Gaddam are producing the film. The music is composed by Chandu Ravi, the cinematography is done by Pawan Kumar Puppala, and the editing is handled by Venkatesh Chunduru. The first-look poster of Anaganaga was released on Sumanth¡¯s birthday (February 9). It featured the actor riding a scooter with his wife and son against the middle-class family setting the film explores.
It also came with a message: ¡°We used to listen to many stories as children, didn¡¯t we? Happy birthday to our Vyas sir, who is coming to relive the same stories!¡± This film is set to feel like a warm and relatable journey into family life, with Sumanth playing a character that many people will connect with.
