Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 update patch notes: New agents, region, anniversary rewards and more
Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 is here with a brand-new area, Waifei Peninsula, and a cast of new characters. The update celebrates the game¡¯s first anniversary and adds new combat mechanics, agent banners, events and cosmetics. Yixuan and Ju Fufu headline the story in this massive content update.
Zenless Zone Zero is celebrating its first anniversary with a huge update. ¡®Version 2.0¡¯ brings a new region, exciting characters, improved gameplay systems, and many free rewards. The story shifts to a new area called Waifei Peninsula, where players will meet new allies and face even greater threats.
There¡¯s also a new way to explore and fight in the game, plus agent reruns, W-Engines and exclusive outfits to unlock. Whether you're just starting or have been playing since launch, this update gives you a fresh experience.

The story now takes place in Waifei Peninsula, located in the Throne Quarter. This was once a Hollow monitoring outpost, and it's filled with Porcelume, a rare material that can resist Ether Corruption. However, the area is in danger because of greedy leaders and Hollow-worshipping cultists who are using Porcelume for their own plans.
Players will team up with High Preceptor Yixuan to stop a disaster and uncover the truth behind the growing tensions in this new zone. The main quest is called ¡°Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn,¡± and it continues the Phaethon storyline while introducing secrets about the Phaethon siblings.

Waifei Peninsula includes places like Failume Heights, a bright cliffside town, and Suibian Temple, where the player trains with Yixuan. Players can now manage the temple by sending Bangboo to explore, crafting items, and raising their Management Level to unlock outfits and rewards.
In Aerospace City, players will try out new ways to move and fight. Fissure Beacons let you teleport. Perception Techniques help break hidden objects and show secrets. New mini-games like Ether Tuning and controlling Eous through Marcel Files add more fun to the mix.
Enemies in Lemnian Hollow can now spread Miasma Corruption. If your Miasma Containment bar fills up, your whole squad takes damage. Some bosses can also summon more monsters, making battles tougher.

Yixuan leads a new faction called Yunkui Summit. She fights using the Auric Ink element and has high mobility and AoE damage. Phase 1 of the update features her banner along with Astra Yao. Pan Yihu and Pulchra Fellini also get boosted drop rates.
Phase 2 introduces Ju Fufu, a fire-based S-rank agent who specialises in stunning enemies. This banner includes reruns for Caesar King, Ben Bigger and Corin Wickes.
Yixuan¡¯s W-Engine is Qingming Birdcage, which boosts her Crit Rate and Ether damage during her EX Special and Ultimate. Phase 2 includes Roaring Fur-nance and Tusks of Fury for Ju Fufu and Caesar.
Meet new Bangboo and collect free cosmetics
Belion is the latest S-Rank Bangboo. Inspired by Chinese guardian lions, Belion deals massive physical damage. It becomes stronger if there are two Yunkui Summit agents in your squad, reducing cooldowns and increasing skill damage.
Yixuan, Belle and Wise all get new costumes. Yixuan¡¯s Trails of Ink outfit is store-only, but Belle and Wise¡¯s outfits can be earned by completing missions in the new main quest.
Free rewards and anniversary events
There are several events planned around the first anniversary. The Festival Channel event lets you pick one free S-rank agent and W-Engine. Players will also get 1,600 Polychromes, a special title and an avatar.
Ju Fufu gets a story quest called Legend of the Tiger Warrior. Other events include new game modes like Gravitational Attraction, Holographic Onslaught Arena, Operation Yum, Golden Proxy Awards, Hollow Zero missions and more. Combat Training and Special Cleanup will give triple rewards for a limited time.
