3. Chhorii 2 plot summary
Chhorii 2 continues the story from the first film, which was a remake of the 2017 Marathi horror Lapachhapi.
Seven years have passed since the chilling events of Chhorii, and Sakshi is now living a quiet life with her daughter, Ishani. But peace is fragile.
Ishani has a rare condition that forces her to stay in the dark¡ªsunlight could be fatal. Still, she remains joyful and spirited.
One night, their calm is shattered when a mysterious spirit appears and lures Ishani away. Returning home to find her daughter missing, a panicked Sakshi seeks help from Inspector Samar.
Their search pulls them back into the same cursed village Sakshi once fled.
As they navigate the dense sugarcane fields, they are haunted by old evils. When separated, Sakshi stumbles upon someone she believed long gone¡ªbefore being violently attacked and blacking out.
She wakes up in a hidden underground chamber where villagers worship a dark and deadly goddess. There, a shape-shifting priestess named Daasi declares that Ishani will be sacrificed in three days.
Sakshi must now fight time and terror to rescue her daughter before the sinister ritual is complete.

Nushrratt Bharuccha returns as Sakshi, with Soha Ali Khan playing the role of Daasi Ma.
Chhorii 2 is directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Jack Davis under the banners of T-Series, Abundantia Entertainment, Psych, and Tamarisk Lane.
The film features dialogues by Divya Prakash Dubey and also stars Gashmeer Mahajani, Saurabh Goyal, Pallavi Ajay, Kuldeep Sareen, and child actor Hardika Sharma.
