Everything About My Wife OTT Release Date: This Filipino romantic comedy starring real-life couple Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo is all set to premiere on Netflix on May 29, 2025. The film, which debuted in Philippine cinemas on February 26 this year, is a remake of the 2008 Argentine film Un Novio Para Mi Mujer (A Boyfriend for My Wife).
In the original, a man feels trapped in his marriage because his wife is constantly nagging and complaining. Too scared to ask for a divorce, he secretly hires a charming playboy to seduce her, hoping she¡¯ll fall for the other guy and leave him on her own. The Argentine original was a huge box office hit in Latin America and inspired several remakes across the world, including in South Korea (2012), Mexico (2016), and now, the Philippines (2025).
What is Everything About My Wife all about?
In this adaptation, Dennis Trillo plays Dominic Brizuela, a husband who feels trapped in his marriage to Imogen Karuhatan (Jennylyn Mercado). Seeking an unconventional way out, Dominic hires a charming womaniser, Miguel (Sam Milby), to seduce his wife, hoping she'll initiate a divorce. However, as Miguel and Imogen grow closer, Dominic realises he may have made a grave mistake, leading to unexpected twists in their relationship.

Everything About My Wife marks the first on-screen collaboration between Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo since their appearance in the 2020 anthology series I Can See You. The film also reunites Jennylyn with Sam Milby, her co-star from the 2015 romantic comedy The Prenup.
