Despite Blockbuster 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', Kartik Aaryan's 'Freddy' Struggles To Secure OTT Deal!

Kartik Aaryan, who is enjoying the biggest success of his career, has encountered difficulties with the release of his upcoming movie, Freddy on OTT platforms. With his most recent movie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, becoming a box office smash, Kartik Aaryan is basking in the glory of the film's success.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, a horror comedy directed by Anees Bazmee, finished its theatrical run with box office numbers being close to Rs 250 crore.

In the upcoming film Freddy, Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F will play the main leads. However, the plot of Freddy is still unknown, and the film is struggling to secure an OTT release deal.

According to reports, the makers planned to release their film on OTT Giant, similar to Kartik's Dhamaka and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Both of his films on OTT were well received by the audience.

The fact that Kartik Aaryan is having trouble finding a buyer for Freddy despite recently delivering a blockbuster like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, comes as a surprise to all of us.

BollywoodLife reported that a source familiar with the makers revealed that, ¡°Kartik Aaryan starrer Freddy is supposed to have been fashioned as an OTT film all along with Dhamaka on Netflix, which had also starred the actor in the lead. However, unlike Dhamaka, Freddy is finding it tough to secure any buyers on a big, reputed OTT platform. Apparently, the makers have approached multiple OTT players of repute, but none seem interested in the movie, owing to its subject matter and treatment, which is reportedly dissuading the film from fetching its asking price, even though said OTT players are tempted to bet on Kartik¡¯s name and stardom.¡±

Freddy, starring Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F, could debut in theatres as reported by BollywoodLife.

Meanwhile, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, starring Kartik Aaryan And Kiara Advani is currently available on Netflix.
