Many people believed that Shinda, an independent artist who also collaborates with AP, deserved to be in a docu-series more than him when AP Dhillon: One Of A Kind was announced. Not just him, but many other artists were seen to be deserving of inclusion in such an exhibition because they had endured great hardships. While the subject is debatable, it is safe to conclude that everyone struggles in some way, and AP gained notoriety when two of its songs started trending around the world.

The freshly released show is a wonderful synthesis of emotions, music, struggle, and other things. It features AP aka Amritpal Singh Dhillon, a man who appears to be the coolest rapper and vocalist but is really just a 'brown munda' who adores his friends and family.

The performer who tours the globe, puts on numerous performances, and is well-known to audiences both at home and abroad is also an easygoing person who never really wanted to leave his Punjab village. Known for making songs such as Takeover, Brown Munde, Excuses, and others, AP actually had to start from scratch. He described how his father loved Sufi music, and how this made him want to listen to more songs. He can be seen singing, playing the guitar, and showing off his old harmonium in a few recollections. Additionally, he can be seen explaining how he saved money and built his own small studio after moving abroad.

AP is heard admitting that he prefers and loves his name Amrit more than AP during a touching interaction in one episode of the show. The explanation for this is that he never forgets his roots and acts as Amrit for his family and father. You can see him behave like a normal dad's kid and concur with everything his dad says while speaking to him over call.

You must have realized by this point that, like most of us, AP did not have an easy life. He's gone a long way from being raised by a single father to creating his own musical mark. Throughout the series, we see AP talking in Punjabi to the camera and also with his friends. This adds to the whole connecting feeling for the audience and makes us understand his feelings more. You will also notice AP¡¯s desi pronunciation of words while he talks in his heavy American accent too. I mean, afterall he is pind boy Amrit!
