Haikyuu!! vs The Little Giant anime: Haikyu!! Fans rejoice! It's movie time. New details on the second installment of the two-part anime film series were unveiled during a special Haikyu!! event in Tokyo and it has left anime enthusiasts excited! The most recent film, Haikyu!! vs. Chiisana Kyojin, is the follow-up to Haikyu!! The Battle of the Dumpster. Production I.G. is set to rehire Susumu Mitsunaka as director for the upcoming film.

Furthermore, it was revealed that Japanese TV would air a special episode called Haikyu!! Bakemonotachi no Iku Tokoro, or "The Place Where Monsters Go." Additionally, a teaser trailer for the TV special was released. In the special, Kotaro Bokuto and Wakatsu Kiryu, the star players of Fukurodani Academy and Mujinazaka High School, respectively, compete against one another.
