The Last of Us Season 2: What's coming
The Last of Us Season 2 takes place five years after the events of the first season.
In the aftermath of their harrowing journey across a post-apocalyptic America, Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) have settled in Jackson, Wyoming, within a community led by Joel's sister-in-law, Maria (Rutina Wesley). However, their bond is strained, and life is far from peaceful.
Their fragile peace is disrupted when a mysterious group led by the soldier Abby (Kaitlyn Dever) arrives, setting Ellie on a path to seek revenge for those who have wronged her. Meanwhile, Joel's troubled past resurfaces, threatening to complicate their lives once more.
Based on the iconic video game series developed by Naughty Dog, The Last of Us delves into a world ravaged by a fungal infection, transforming humans into monstrous creatures.
