All you need to know about Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich
The American web documentary miniseries Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich centers on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The miniseries, co-written by John Connolly and Tim Malloy, is based on James Patterson's 2016 book of the same name. On May 27, 2020, Filthy Rich became available on OTT. Interviews with a number of survivors, including Virginia Giuffre and Maria Farmer, as well as former employees and former police chief Michael Reiter¡ªa pivotal figure in the initial criminal case against Epstein¡ªare included in the four-part documentary.
Nine months before Epstein's arrest, Filthy Rich was in production and had been announced before his passing. Since Epstein was still alive and operating on a secret server, the initiative was first known as The Florida Project. They also had cameras and a safe to store supplies in a closed room where they operated.
For those who were unaware, Maxwell was convicted in December 2021 of sex trafficking and associated offenses for enticing minors on behalf of Epstein.
The synopsis as per IMdb reads, ¡°Survivors reveal the manipulation, abuse and emotional scars suffered at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Their stories expose a sex trafficking ring of powerful enablers leading up to his 2019 arrest."
