Jewel Thief ending explained
Rehan (played by Saif Ali Khan), as most of you might have predicted, wasn¡¯t going to let go of the jewel and hand it over to Moosa. While the movie showed that Rehan was planning everything with Rajan (played by Jaideep Ahlawat) , he knew that Rajan would also try to double-cross him at the end. So, the jewel Rehan sent to Moosa wasn¡¯t the real one.
When Rehan went to close the Rs 250 crore deal with Rajan, Rajan tried to kill him, but Rehan outsmarted him and managed to fool him instead.
In the end, we see a bloodied Rajan tied up while Rehan opens the gas outlet. Moosa realises that the jewel is fake and comes to confront Rajan. That¡¯s when Rajan lights a cigarette and throws it at the gas pipe, setting the room on fire and burning everyone present while Rehan escapes.
Rehan then retrieves the Red Sun jewel from London and travels to Florence with Farah, where Farah hints at Rehan¡¯s next target.
Jewel Thief review
Jewel Thief positions itself as a slick heist drama but ultimately falls short of expectations. The film struggles to maintain engagement, hindered by a predictable plot and uneven pacing that causes the narrative to drag at regular intervals. Performances across the board lack depth, and the action sequences typically expected to be high-energy highlights in such a genre come off as uninspired and poorly executed. With little to offer in terms of originality or thrill, Jewel Thief is a forgettable addition to the heist genre and one that viewers won¡¯t regret skipping.
