Kudumbasthan OTT release details: This Indian Tamil-language comedy-drama film is set to release in theatres on January 24, 2025. Even before its theatrical debut, the OTT platform for the movie has already been confirmed, though the release date has not yet been announced. Kudumbasthan will be available on Zee5 after its theatrical run.

Kudumbasthan plot summary

Set in the lively city of Coimbatore, Kudumbasthan follows the humorous yet meaningful journey of a newlywed man who suddenly finds himself grappling with the complexities and responsibilities of married life. The film also explores the emotions of men in love but still unmarried, making it relatable to a broad audience.

The trailer opens with a voiceover stating, "Today, we'll learn the recipe to create a Family Man," followed by a glimpse of the protagonist's life spiraling into chaos as he navigates different stages of marriage.

Interestingly, the title Kudumbasthan translates to "Family Man" in English.

Kudumbasthan features an impressive ensemble cast, including K. Manikandan and Saanve Megghana in the lead roles, supported by Guru Somasundaram, R. Sundarrajan, Prasanna Balachandran, and Jenson Dhivakar.

Directed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy, who also makes his directorial debut, the film is co-written by Kalisamy alongside Prasanna Balachandran, with Balachandran also contributing to the dialogues.

The story and screenplay, crafted by both Kalisamy and Balachandran, set the stage for a heartfelt and humorous exploration of marital life.
