When To Watch Munjya?
Following the trend of other Bollywood releases like Shaitaan, Laapataa Ladies, and Madgaon Express, Munjya is expected to stream digitally about two months after its theatrical release, likely by the end of July or early August. However, official confirmation and a specific date are still awaited.

According to reports, Disney Plus Hotstar has acquired the OTT rights for Munjya.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films, Munjya is the fourth movie in the Maddock Supernatural Universe, following Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya. The film is based on the legend of Munjya, a spirit from Indian folklore. It tells the story of a boy who accidentally releases the spirit, causing chaos among the local women. The community must figure out how to send the spirit back. The trailer shows Munjya tormenting the lead character (played by Abhay Verma) as he searches for his Munni.

Sharvari plays Abhay Verma¡¯s love interest, while Mona Singh plays his mother. The film has a U/A certification from the Central Board and runs for 2 hours and 3 minutes. There is also a cameo by Shraddha Kapoor, which is said to perfectly synchronise the elements of the Stree-Munjya universe and leaves plenty of room for a crossover film.
