Over 5,600 People Have Signed Petition To Remove #MeToo Accused Sajid Khan From 'Bigg Boss'

Filmmaker Sajid Khan¡¯s participation in the new season of Bigg Boss has evoked adverse reactions and widespread outrage. Sajid was embroiled in the #MeToo controversy in 2018 after nine women in the industry accused Khan of sexually harassing them while working on his various projects.
Actresses like Saloni Chopra, Sherlyn Chopra, Aahana Kumra, and Mandana Karimi, among others, had leveled allegations against him.
Besides people raising their voices to detest Sajid's participation and 'rehabilitation' on such a big platform, over 5.6k people have supported a petition to remove him from the show.
According to the petition,
"Here¡¯s a quick reminder of some of the things Sajid Khan has been accused of, which have been widely reported by credible news outlets.
1. Whipped out his penis and flashed women at parties.
2. Asked female actors to send nudes as part of the casting process
3. Talked in a sexually degrading manner to women.
4. Watched porn in front of his female staff."
Supporting this, netizens came together to voice their opinion on Sajid's appearance on the popular reality show.

After facing the allegations, Sajid decided to take a ¡®moral responsibility of stepping down from his directorial post of ¡®Houseful 4¡¯.
The directorial responsibilities were handed over to filmmaker Farhad Samji. He also said that he decided because ¡®pressure¡¯ was being put on his family. However, when Sajid entered the show, he claimed his 'credits were snatched,' and his hard work for the film was discredited.

Colors TV¡¯s decision to bring Sajid to the Bigg Boss house is criticized by many, including singer Sona Mohapatra. She claimed that she faced harassment at the hands of music composer Anu Malik.

In an Instagram post, Singer Sona Mohapatra requested filmmaker Farhan Akhtar to raise his voice against Sajid¡¯s participation in the reality show.
¡°This is #SajidKhan, now on a reality TV show. Then there is #AnuMalik judging a music reality show on TV for children, no less. #KailashKher? Celebrity Judge on TV. ALL called out by many, many women in @IndiaMeToo. Indian TV channels, executives are indeed depraved & sad lot,¡± she wrote.

Despite severe criticism for bringing Sajid onboard, Colors TV has yet to respond.
