Surface Season 2 OTT release date: Fans of this psychological thriller no longer have to wait. The eight-episode Surface Season 2 premieres worldwide on Apple TV+ on Friday, February 21, 2025, with new episodes every Friday through April 11.
Surface Season 2: What to expect
On season 2 of the show, Sophie (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) continues on her quest to uncover the truth about her life after a traumatic fall leaves her with amnesia.
As she pieces things together, she discovers a web of lies, secrets, and deception that make her question everything¡ªeven herself.
Created by Veronica West, known for Ugly Betty, High Fidelity, and Dexter: New Blood, the series is executive produced by West, Reese Witherspoon through Hello Sunshine, and Mbatha-Raw.

Surface Season 2: Cast and crew
Gugu Mbatha-Raw returns as Sophie, joined by Oliver Jackson-Cohen as James and Millie Brady as Eliza.
New cast members for season two include Phil Dunster, Gavin Drea, Rupert Graves, Tara Fitzgerald, Nina Sosanya, Joely Richardson, and Freida Pinto.
Produced by Apple Studios and Hello Sunshine, Surface was created and written by Veronica West, who also serves as executive producer.
Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter executive produce for Hello Sunshine. Emmy-nominated Sam Miller (I May Destroy You) directed four episodes, including the pilot, and serves as executive producer.
