Argentina had a fairly memorable Copa America 2021. They defeated Brazil in the storied Maracana Stadium to win their first adult international championship since 1993.

They also banished the memories of the two finals they lost to Chile in 2015 and 2016, and they developed a very open narrative about Lionel Messi in preparation for the World Cup, which begins on November 20.
