White Rose OTT Release: Kayal Anandhi starred in a Tamil film earlier this year which arrived in theatres on 5th April. Produced by N Ranjani under the banner of Poombarai Murugan Productions, the thriller opened to mixed reviews. Now, after several months, White Rose is ready to stream on Aha Tamil from December 27, 2024.

White Rose plot summary

A simple middle-class woman¡¯s life is torn apart when her husband is tragically killed in a mistaken police encounter. Devastated and struggling to cope with her loss, she finds herself vulnerable and eventually falls into the hands of a dangerous psychopath. As if things couldn't get worse, her young daughter is kidnapped, leaving her desperate and trapped in a terrifying situation.

With her world crumbling around her, she must find the strength to escape her captor and navigate the struggle-filled journey to rescue her child. Will she be able to survive and reunite with her daughter, or will the nightmare consume them both? Know all of this about Rajashekar's directorial debut on OTT soon.

Other than Anandhi, the movie also features R. K. Suresh, Rooso Sreedharan, Vijjith, Baby Nakshatra, Sasi Laya, Suliyan Bharani, Rittika Chakraborthy, Hashin, Dharani Reddy and S. R. Jangid among others. The technical crew of White Rose consists of music by Johan Shevanesh, cinematography by Elayaraja V, editing by Gopikrishna and distribution by Uthraa Productions.

The Times of India rated this movie 1.5 out of 5 and a part of their review read, ¡°The reluctance of the characters to use their guns when faced with a clear threat feels out of place in a thriller. Despite the script¡¯s potential, the screenplay lacks depth and the execution leaves much to be desired. Kayal Anandhi¡¯s performance as Divya is limited in scope, largely focused on expressions of terror and panic. As for the technical aspects, they are functional yet unremarkable.¡±
