Hotstar Originals¡¯ much-awaited Tamil series Parachute is ready to fly. The thriller stars Krishna, Kishore, and Kani in key roles and here¡¯s more you need to know about it ahead of its OTT premiere on Disney+ Hotstar.
Parachute OTT release date: Sridhar K¡¯s much-awaited Tamil drama is ready for its digital release. This slice-of-life series starring Krishna, Kishore, and Kani Thiru in key roles was first announced in August 2023. Parachute will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on November 29 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi, and Bengali.
Parachute cast and crew
Other than Krishna, Kishore, and Kani, Parachute also stars Kaali Venkat, Bava Chelladurai, Sharanya and Shaam with child artists Shakthi Ritwik and Iyal among others. Helmed by Sridhar K, Om Narayan cinematographed the movie and Richard Kevin took the editing responsibility. Krishna bankrolls parachute under the banner of Tribal Horse Entertainment and Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music.
Parachute plot summary
The trailer shows Shakthi and Iyal as mischievous siblings filled with curiosity. After Kishore, playing the role of their father punishes Shakthi for his low exam grades, the siblings grab their father's motorcycle and flee from home. Nevertheless, they get lost during the journey. As Kishore and his wife, Kani, search for the children, Kishore becomes involved in a power struggle with a traffic cop, portrayed by Krishna. What happens next is only thrills and chills!
