Tudum claims that three years before the new season premiered, Joe and Kate (Charlotte Ritchie) moved to New York City from London. Joe, her loyal husband whom the admiring public has dubbed Prince Charming, and Kate, who is now the CEO of the Lockwood Corporation, are both fulfilling their vow to help each other accomplish good. But as the teaser implies and as devoted followers of Joe Goldberg's experiences can deduce, Joe's quest to make peace with his past and future selves is an ongoing undertaking. As the season goes on, Joe will have to cope with his wife Kate's family in addition to meeting a young woman (played by Madeline Brewer) who makes him rethink his affluent lifestyle.
