This was not just an idea. Akshay took the first step of executing his plan by discussing it with the Home Ministry officials, who went on to get the plan in place. And now Akshay's idea has come true.
On Sunday, while celebrating CRPF Valour Day, a website `bharatkeveer.gov.in' was launched at Vigyan Bhawan here by Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Akshay Kumar's presence.

A documentary had inspired Akshay to come up with an idea that can help several lives. Akshay discussed how the documentary showed terror leaders financially supporting the families of the terrorist who carry out terror acts. He said,

¡°This website has been made exactly in two and a half months. About three months, this idea came in my mind, while watching a documentary film on terrorists¡±
He added,

¡°Everybody wants to connect to people in uniform in their pain. It was a small dream and to fulfill this dream, our government really helped us. I want to thank everybody with my folded hands. My father was in Army and I am here as his son. Thank-you everyone."
How does the website work?
1. Through the portal, people can donate up to Rs 15 lakh to the families of martyred jawans and officers of central armed police forces (CAPFs).
2.The portal is an IT-based platform, with an objective to enable willing donors to contribute towards the family of a braveheart who sacrificed his/her life in line of duty. The amount so donated gets credited to the account of ¡®Next of Kin¡¯ of those Central Armed Police Force/Central Para Military Force soldiers.
Sharing his experience, Akshay took to Twitter to express his feelings. He wrote,
