The bright afternoon of May 22nd turned dark as actor Aditya Singh Rajput was found dead at his 11th-floor high-rise Andheri house. Several media reports suggest that the Splitsvilla fame passed away due to an alleged drug overdose but the post-mortem reports are yet to be released.

Aditya was aged 32 and hailed from Delhi. He started his career as a model and went on to star in a few movies like Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara and Krantiveer. One of his most popular stints remains Splitsvilla 9 alongside youth-based TV shows like Love, Aashiqui, Code Red, Aawaz Season 9 and Bad Boy Season 4 among others.
Aditya featured in over 25 advertisements, including the popular Hero Honda Ad with actor Hrithik Roshan and cricketer Saurav Ganguly. Rajput who was also prominent in the casting industry was also a part of Pogo TV's popular show Cambala Investigation Agency. Other than that, Aditya was frequently spotted at Page 3 events.

She told Aaj Tak, ¡°My friendship with Aditya is very deep. He was such a cheerful boy, he used to give a lot of respect to those who were older than him. The news of his death has left me broken. I got his message a few days back. I got an injury and he had been sending me voice messages. No one says that you are hurt, you will be fine.¡±
¡°His last message was, ¡®Come home soon... I will feed you Maggi¡¯.¡±

Sweety further added, ¡°I still hope this news is false. I came to know about this an hour ago and couldn't believe it. He lived alone in Mumbai. He was an animal lover and had adopted a seven-month-old puppy some time ago. Don't know what will happen to his dog now.¡±
