¡®We Are Here As Fans¡¯: Anil Kapoor-Anupam Kher Pay Courteous Visit To Rishabh Pant In Hospital

Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant is hospitalised in a Dehradun Hospital after meeting with a near-to-fatal accident. On December 29th, the star wicketkeeper¡¯s car crashed with a divider and caught fire on Delhi to Uttarakhand highway. In a courteous visit, Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher met him on the year's last day.

While speaking about the 25-year-old cricketer, Anupam called him and Anil, Pant¡¯s fans and said that he is currently fine.

Anupam while addressing the media outside the Max hospital said, ¡°It is sometimes very important to go on such occasions so that you can cheer up the other person who has gone through such a big thing in life. We visited him as fans to inquire about his health. He is currently fine and recuperating. We tried to cheer him up with our jokes and made him laugh also.¡±

¡°I must say Rishabh's spirits are really high. We were careful about the protocols at the hospital and we wished him a speedy recovery.¡± Adding to this, Anil said, ¡° To all those who are watching this, I would just like to say that please pray for him so that he recovers and we see him back on the ground.¡±

BCCI¡¯s Honorary Secretary issued an official statement on Rishabh¡¯s accident and shared details of the mishap.

Jay Shah quoted, ¡°India wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant met with a car accident early on Friday morning near Roorkee, Uttarakhand. He was admitted to Saksham Hospital Multispecialty and Trauma Centre where he was treated for impact injuries.¡±

¡°Rishabh has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back. Rishabh¡¯s condition remains stable, and he has now been shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, where he will undergo MRI scans to ascertain the extent of his injuries and formulate his further course of treatment.¡±

¡°The BCCI is in constant touch with Rishabh¡¯s family while the Medical Team is in close contact with the doctors currently treating Rishabh. The Board will see to it that Rishabh receives the best possible medical care and gets all the support he needs to come out of this traumatic phase,¡± the statement concluded.

On the work front, Anupam Kher was last seen in The Kashmir Files and Uunchai. He has several projects in his hand including Kangana Ranaut¡¯s Emergency, Kaagaz 2, Nautanki, The Signature, Shiv Shastri Balboa, IB71 and Kuch Khatta Ho Jaaye. Anil Kapoor on the other hand was last seen in Jugg Jugg Jeeyo and will be next seen in Animal and Fighter.
