The actress who will next be seen in Chakda Xpress, a biopic on Indian female player Jhulan Goswami, says she is prioritising motherhood over movies.
Anushka Sharma to do fewer films?
Anushka Sharma will do movies only if they're worth her time
"I don¡¯t think I found time to do anything else. I¡¯m okay to do more movies but only if it¡¯s worth taking my time out and if it makes sense. I don¡¯t want to do movies just to stay in the game ¨C I¡¯m very clear about that. It would have to be a film like Chakda", she said in an interview.
Furthermore, she said that motherhood has made her confident.
"It has internally made me a far more self-assured individual ¨C I feel I¡¯m way more confident as a person. It¡¯s a very real thing, caring for another human ¨C and putting the child first in everything. I want to mention this ¨C that it¡¯s so important to have this connect with your child. I¡¯m so hands on and I do everything for her, and I enjoy doing it, so the bond is very special. I feel that she¡¯s turning into a secure individual, and I¡¯m happy about that," she told Grazia.
Last year, Anushka Sharma quit the production house Clean Slate Flimz that she co-founded with her brother Karnesh Sharma. At that time, she said that she want to focus on her first love that is acting.

"I have decided that whatever time I have at hand, I will dedicate it to my first love, acting! Therefore, I have decided to step away from CSF, confident that the most able person, Karnesh, is taking forward the vision with which it was created in the first place," she wrote.
"I can't wait to see how he grows the company from strength to strength with the stellar lineup of projects that he has handpicked, nurtured and given life to. My best wishes to the entire family at CSF. Love you all," she added.
