Apoorva Lakhia To Bring India Vs China's Deadly Skirmish 2020 Galwan Clash To The Big Screen

Director Apoorva Lakhia is soon going to bring the famous Galwan Battle in 2020 to life on the big screen.
According to various reports, the director has acquired rights to a chapter from the book 'India¡¯s Most Fearless - 3,' which is based on the events that happened in the Galwan region on June 14, 2020 between Indian and Chinese troops.
India Today TV's Senior Executive Editor Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, Senior Editor at the Hindustan Times wrote the book. Both are involved with military affairs journalism.
According to movietalkies, when asked about their opinion of the book being turned into a film, authors Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh expressed, ¡°The Galwan incident is an episode that saw the Indian army suffer terrible loss, but they also inflicted an unforgettable wound on a treacherous adversary. We are delighted that our account of the incident¡ªthe only first-hand telling of what really happened and the incredible human side of the battle¡ªis now in the very able hands of Apoorva Lakhia for a film that we know will be worthy of those who fought, fell, and lived to tell.¡±
If reports are to be believed, Suresh Nair in collaboration with Chintan Gandhi and Chintan Shah, will be adapting the story and screenplay. The latter will also pen the film's dialogues.
