Dharmendra has chosen to incorporate his middle name and surname, originally bestowed upon him at birth, into his on-screen persona.
While he has been widely known in the film industry simply as Dharmendra, the veteran actor, born 'Dharam Singh Deol,' has made the decision to reclaim the full name he was given at the outset of his life.
