'Perfect Blend Of Drama, Comedy And Mystery': Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies Trailer Wins Hearts

Finally, the first trailer for "Laapataa Ladies," directed by Kiran Rao, is here. This narrative, starring Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastav, and Nitanshi Goel, tells the tale of a rural man whose wife is unexpectedly switched.

In the beginning of the trailer, a guy reveals his wife to his family and the people of the village, only to discover that she isn't the girl he was supposed to bring home. Another scene shows a guy reporting his wife missing to a suspicious and sarcastic police officer (played by Ravi Kishan) at a police station.

She said some time ago as per Outlook, ¡°There¡¯s no better reward for a filmmaker than to experience firsthand the laughter, tears, and applause of your audience, and at TIFF we were delighted and humbled by it. Last year, the movie was shown at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The trailer for the Siddharth Anand-directed aerial action drama Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, will be affixed to the theatrical release of the movie.

The screenplay for the movie, which is being produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, is based on an award-winning narrative by Biplab Goswami.

The film marks Kiran Rao's second film as a director after Dhobi Ghat. Laapataa Ladies will release on 1st March 2024.
