Calling Neha an indirect supporter of the film Pathaan, some netizens hurled slogans in her comment section. See some reactions:-
The controversy involving Besharam Rang doesn¡¯t seem to end. Even though the film¡¯s new track Jhoome Jo Pathaan is released, trollers are stuck on the old tale.
Lyricist Manoj Muntashir tells Dainik Bhaskar, "If people are hurt, they have certainly committed some mistake. The error could not be detected and was simply ignored. If the director, the music team or Shah Rukh sir had spotted the error, they would have certainly taken some action."
Shilpa Rao who sang the song expressed, "Deepika is a whole vibe in Besharam Rang and the track is addictive because of her! I have sung many songs for Deepika: some have been of romance, some have been of falling in love, some have been of finding your true self, but this one is very different.¡±
¡°This one is where she is confident in her own skin, she's like taking on the world as brilliantly as she is and she (her character in the film) is embracing the good and the flaws that she has! Deepika is saying that this is what I have to offer to the whole world and I think that is what I love about the song.¡±
¡°Many women across the world need to feel really confident in their skin, no matter where we come from. We need to embrace our goodness with the flaws and really celebrate ourselves and that is what I love about Besharam Rang and really hope the audiences love it." For the unversed, the song was tuned by Vishal-Shekhar and has garnered over 100 million views within 10 days.
Targeting BJP for initiating this uproar, Rajasthan Cabinet minister Pratap Singh Khachiryawas said, "The BJP government is trying to divert attention from issues such as unemployment, price rise, inflation by raising non-issues pertaining to movie Pathaan. If the BJP is unhappy over something with the movie, the Modi government, which is ruling at the Centre, could have allowed the movie not to be passed if there was something problematic with the movie. Why did the BJP allow the movie to be passed if there was some problem with the movie or its song?"
