Businessman and husband of actress Shilpa Shetty - Raj Kundra is all set to star in his biopic. Titled UT 69, the movie will relive Raj¡¯s days of custody in Arthur's jail where he was jailed in connection to producing pornographic content. The biographical drama will hit the theatres on 3rd November.

The description of Raj¡¯s biopic reveals, ¡°UT69 takes a satirical look into the real-life incidents of businessman Raj Kundra¡¯s days spent in Arthur Road jail. He recalls this period as his most difficult time. The film depicts this chapter of his life and is based on a true story.¡± During the trailer launch, Raj made several confessions.

During the trailer launch, Raj revealed that he wore a face mask to hide the pain that the media trial caused him. He quoted, ¡°In fact, it was more painful than my legal trial. I don¡¯t blame the media because they were doing their job but it was so painful that I had to wear a mask and cover up. I didn¡¯t want to be seen or spotted or get my pictures clicked.¡±

The businessman said at the event, "It was painful, especially when you know you haven't done anything wrong and you have to face such circumstances. More than anything else, it was painful for my family. I would like to say, Speak what you want to, but please do not involve my wife, my children, or my family. What have they done wrong?"
How did Shilpa Shetty react to Raj Kundra¡¯s biopic?
Raj revealed that Shilpa was a little apprehensive about this move but after director Shahnawaz Ali gave her a narration, she was convinced. Kundra shared, ¡°She thought about it and realised that it wasn't against the system in any way. She felt it was a very human story. She was very supportive. She asked me, ¡®Tu acting kar lega (will you be able to act)?¡¯¡±
¡°I told her that I will be able to since I have done some method acting by going to jail.¡±
