Notably, a scene in which Ranbir Kapoor's character, Ranvijay, was walking menacingly while bloodied and shirtless bore a striking resemblance to a photo Saif shared a few years ago.
The palace's lasting grandeur was highlighted by keeping unique features intact, like a trophy, photo frames on the wall, and an untouched bureau.

Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, the Nawab of Pataudi, built Pataudi Palace in the 1930s, now worth hundreds of crores. Following the death of Mansoor Ali Khan, the property transitioned into a lease with a hotel chain. In candid interviews, Saif revealed that he had to buy back the property, dismissing rumors of inheritance. "Even the house I¡¯m supposed to have inherited has been earned back through money from films. You can¡¯t live off the past. At least we can¡¯t in our family because there was nothing. There is history, culture, beautiful photographs, and, of course, some land. It has been a privileged upbringing. But there¡¯s been no inheritance," he shared with Mid-Day.
Every few months, glimpses of Pataudi Palace surface on social media through pictures shared by Saif¡¯s wife or his sisters, Soha and Saba Ali Khan.

The family cherishes significant moments at the palace, providing a serene retreat for the youngest generation¡ªTaimur, Jeh, and Inaaya¡ªto experience a life of freedom away from Mumbai's bustling urban life.
An advertisement for the House of Pataudi fashion label also unveiled the palace's lavish interiors, showcasing various antiques and rooms, with Saif himself playing the role of a tour guide.
