Salman Khan¡¯s Sikandar, one of the biggest films of the year, opened to an average at the box office yesterday (March 31) on the occasion of Eid. It collected Rs 26 crore on the film day and failed to beat Vicky Kaushal¡¯s Chhaava, which had earned nearly Rs 30 crore on the first day. Sikandar also received negative reviews, with most critics panning the execution. With that, here is a look at the day 1 collections of Salman¡¯s previous releases.
Tiger 3 (2023)
The action-thriller, a part of Yash Raj Films¡¯ ¡®Spyverse, featured Salman in the role of a secret agent who undertakes a deadly mission. It earned Rs 44.5 crore on the first day despite mixed reviews. The film earned around Rs 282 crore in India in its full run. Tiger 3 was directed by Maneesh Sharma.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023)
The film, which hit the screens on Eid, was a remake of Veeram and centred on the life of an unmarried man who lives with his brothers. The action-comedy earned Rs 13.5 crore on the first day. It netted Rs 110 crore in its lifetime and ended up being a disappointment. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was directed by Farhad Samji.
Antim (2021)
Salman Khan impressed fans with his portrayal of a Sikh cop in this Vaastav-like crime drama, which was directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The film earned merely Rs 5 crore on day 1. It collected Rs 40 crore in its complete run, failing to meet the standards set by Bhaijaan¡¯s previous releases.
Dabangg 3 (2019)
The action drama, which saw Salman reprise his role as the iconic cop Chulbul Pandey, failed to meet the standards set by the previous installments of the saga. It earned Rs 24.50 crore on the first day and ended its run with a haul of Rs 151 crore. Dabangg 3 was directed by Prabhudeva.

Bharat (2019
Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is one of Salman¡¯s best Eid openers. The actioner earned Rs 42 crore on day 1 and set the box office on fire. It ended its run with a tidal collection of Rs 202 crore ad emerged as a commercial success.
