Varun Dhawan is presently shooting his next film, Border 2, opposite Sunny Deol. The actor has been sharing information with fans, which has only increased their excitement. In line with the theme, he has offered another behind-the-scenes look at the location. Anurag Singh is directing the first leg of the filming, which is taking place in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.

Varun took to Instagram stories to share a video of the fog and his vehicle travelling behind an Army van. The actor has penned "Border 2 Day 6."
Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty play the key parts in the film, which will be released on Republic Day in 2026. Border 2, situated in the highly secluded military cantonment districts of Jhansi, strives to highlight raw emotions and heroism through a captivating tale, violent action sequences, and genuine drama.
Sunny Deol, Ahan Shetty, and Diljit Dosanjh will also start shooting for the film in the coming months. Earlier in August 2024, Varun stated his enthusiasm to be a part of Border 2 via a long post on X. Dhawan wrote, "I was just a kid in class four when I went to Chandan cinema and saw Border. And it made such a big impact.I still remember the sense of national pride we all felt in the hall when we saw JP sirs Border. To play a part in Border 2 produced by J P sir and Bhushan¡"
