'Stop begging': Fans react as Aadesh Shrivastava's wife urges Shah Rukh Khan to fulfil his promise
Aadesh Shrivastava's wife, Vijayta Pandit, reminds Shah Rukh Khan to fulfill his promise made to her late husband on his deathbed, urging SRK to help their son Avitesh. Fans react with mixed responses. While some asked her to stop begging others said had it been Salman Khan, he would have helped.
Reminding him of the promises he made to her late husband and music composer Aadesh Shrivastava, his wife Vijayta Pandit, has called on Shah Rukh Khan to fulfill the commitment that he made to her husband while he was on his deathbed. With a heavy heart, she revealed the phone number that SRK apparently gave her is not working anymore and he hasn't fulfilled his promise of helping her son. She hopes that the promise once spoken will be fulfilled.

Years after her husband's death, Vijayta Pandit revealed SRK met her late husband a day before he passed away. In his last moments, Aadesh couldn't speak much. However, as he met SRK, he pointed towards her son Avitesh gesturing for him to take care of him after he was gone. For the unversed, Aadesh Shrivastava passed away of cancer in Kokilaben Hospital in 2015 when he was 51 years old.
Shah Rukh never kept in touch with the family
"Main Shah Rukh ko yaad dilana chahti hoon. He was a good friend of Aadesh Shrivastava," she told Lehren Retro revealing that SRK never kept in touch with the family and that the number he gave them is not working anymore. She urged him to help his son in making a career in the industry and added, "We need you, come and help my son. He needs a little push. He can make a film under Red Chillies with Avitesh, he is such a good actor."
My brothers made SRK a star, she said
Vijayta Pandit for the unversed is the sibling of ace music composer duo Jatin-Lalit. She added that her brothers contributed to SRK's success. She added, "My brothers have played a major role in his career. They gave a string of superhit songs for his films with Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Raju Ban Gaya Gentlemen, etc" and asserted, "He will have to consider all this and do something for the family."
Fans ask her to 'stop begging'
Meanwhile, fans are asking Aadesh Shrivastava's wife to stop begging. "She got a young son, so she should not beg anyone... SRK is a big personality and definitely he might get 1000 calls every day and so many ask him to help so that's why his secretary not sharing his numb," one of the fans wrote. "Oh please... too much. When you had a son did u ask SRK... As parents, it's your duty to secure their future. He's a big boy let him also struggle a bit to get work...sab karte hain..." said another fan. "Wishing his the best. But let him too on his own. Stop depending on others they will do nothing but see Tamasha. Expecting from them is a no-no," another fan told her.
Others compare SRK to Salman Khan
Some others said that had it been Salman Khan, he would have fulfilled his promise without any reminder. "Salman ji ko kiya hota to ek minute main help ho jata," one of the fans wrote. "Agar Salman sir hote toh apko help zarur milta," another one pointed out.
