Actress Kanishka Soni Once Told An Actor That Her Mom Is His Fan, His Reply Left Her Shocked
Kanishka Soni talks about an actor who told her 'teri maa ke saath mai kya karunga' when she told him that her mother was his fan.
'Diya Aur Baati Hum' actress Kanishka Soni, who reportedly married herself to become India's second sologamy after Kshama Bindu from Gujarat, has opened up about some disgusting men she has come across in her life.
The actress created a huge buzz after she announced her marriage to herself. Kanishka Soni, who hails from Ahmedabad belongs to a conservative family. The actress revealed that her mother had given her lessons on ways an Indian girl should behave.
"My mother had taught me that good girls don¡¯t use abusive language, don¡¯t drink... in the Indian society, rules are different for boys and girls. She also said that once a girl gets married to a guy, she has to make it work anyhow, for the rest of her life,¡± the actress said.
Kanishka Soni, who chose Solygamy to live her life in her own terms after having gone through traumatic experiences in her past relationship revealed that she did find a guy - an actor, but he's currently in jail.
While refusing to name him as she didn't want to give him free publicity, the actress said that she dated him from May 2010 till November 2011. However, her relationship wasn't healthy as he subjected her to physical and mental abuse.
"He threatened that if I ever leave him, he will harm me and my family. My passport was also taken away by him, I could only get it back after I tricked him into giving it. I ran away from his house once when he was in the bathroom,¡± the actress recalled adding that it took her five years to get out of that toxic relationship.
The actress also recalled having met a legendary actor who left her shocked.
¡°Once I met this legendary actor, and said my mother was a huge fan of him. He replied 'tumhari maa ke saath main kya karunga?'," Soni revealed.
Kanishka Soni also told Dainik Bhaskar in an interview that when she came to Mumbai, she received many proposals.
"I have rejected 1200-1300 such proposals," she said.
