According to reports, Hollywood actor Richard Gere is a father once again, at the age of 69 as his wife Alejandra Silva gave birth to a baby boy. Richard Gere's wife Alejandra Silva, a 35-year-old Spanish publicist and activist was blessed with a baby boy recently. This is also their first baby together.

For the uninitiated, Gere also has a 19-year-old son from his previous marriage to actress Carey Lowell.
The news of her pregnancy was broken with an emotional note and picture. She had written,
¡°A very special moment just a few minutes ago¡ Getting blessings for our precious to come.. we couldn¡¯t announce it before telling HH Dalai Lama.¡±
In the pictures, Dalai Lama can be seen blessing the couple. Not many know that Gere is a Buddhist and has been a friend to Tibet's exiled spiritual leader. Richard and Alejandra got married last year after dating each other for over three years.
