Actress Alia Bhatt, south star Yash and Dhanush are some of the most beloved actors from the country, who have featured in IMDb's newly issued list of Most Popular Indian Stars this year.
According to Indian Express reports, IMDb on Wednesday announced the list of "Most Popular Indian Stars of 2022" and it included names of actors from all across India.
While Dhanush bagged the top spot in the listicle, Alia Bhatt bagged the second spot. Hrithik Roshan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and the cast of RRR also featured in the list among others.
Reportedly, Dhanush, who left the audience cheering in theatres with his performance in Russo Brothers¡¯ The Gray Man this year had as many as five new releases this year, including the Tamil hit movie Thiruchitrambalam besides Vaathi and Naane Varuven.
On the other hand, RRR actress Alia Bhatt, who is all set to make her debut in Hollywood alongside Gal Gadot in the movie 'Heart Of Stone' featured in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Ayan Mukerji's film Brahmastra including in the critically acclaimed feature flick Darlings on Netflix.
South stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR featured in SS Rajamouli's global phenomenon RRR, while south's popular actor Yash launched 2022 with the actioner KGF: Chapter 2, which was super successful at the box office.
If reports are to be believed, the new list has been determined based on the number of visits by users to the IMDb platform. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kiara Advani and Allu Arjun have also made it to the list of 'Most Popular Indian Stars of 2022.'
