Akshay Kumar, Dhanush Congratulate Suriya And 'Soorarai Pottru' Team Post National Awards Win
South star Suriya has won the Best Actor award for his perormance in the movie 'Soorarai Pottru' at the National Awards 2022.
Congratulatory messages have poured in for south star Suriya and his Soorarai Pottru team for marking major win at the 68th National Film Awards.
Suriya's film Soorarai Pottru has bagged multiple awards at the prestigious awards ceremony, administered by the Directorate of Film Festivals, Government Of India. While Suriya received the Best Actor trophy for his performance in Soorarai Pottru, Bollywood actor shared the award for his flick Tanhaji.

Apart from the 'Best Actor' award, Soorarai Pottru went on to bag the 'Best Feature Film' and even earned Aparna Balamurali the 'Best Actress' trophy for her acting skills in the movie.
Soon after the announcement of the 68th National Film Awards winner's list, celebrities from both south and Bollywood took to social media to acknowledge the film and Surya's achievement.

Taking to Twitter, Akshay Kumar lauded Suriya's film calling it an 'iconic' one and wrote, "Over the moon to see #SooraraiPottru win the top honours at the National Awards. Russo Brother's favourite Indian star Dhanush, whose film The Gray Man hit Netfix yesterday said that it was a big day for Kollywood. "A big congratulations to all the national award winners.
