Cops Take Turns To Get Snapped With Salman Khan Outside Commissioner¡¯s Office, Video Goes Viral

Days after the gruesome killing of Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, Bollywood actor Salman Khan's father found a threat letter from Lawrence Bishnoi¡¯s gang.

And since then, security was heightened and a van was deployed outside the superstar's residence. Tiger 3 actor has recently submitted an application seeking a weapon licence for his personal protection.

Reportedly, Salman Khan went to meet Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar on Friday at the latter¡¯s office in south Mumbai. According to an official, the Bollywood star arrived at the police headquarters in Mumbai situation opposite the Crawford Market around 4 pm and met Phansalkar.

The official further added that the meeting was just a courtesy visit and had nothing to do with any case including the ongoing Sidhu Moose Wala Murder case.

Apart from meeting Vivek Phansalkar, the Dabangg actor also met Vishwas Nangre Patil, who is the Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) there.

Post his visit, Salman Khan was surrounded by many cops, who took turns to strike a pose with the celebrity superstar outside the office of Mumbai's Police Commissioner.

The video of cops posing with Salman Khan has now gone viral on the internet. In the video, person can be heard asking Salman Khan the purpose of his visit. He asks, "Salman ji, is there any specific reason of visiting Mumbai CP office? to which the actor responds, "Just to congratulate him, he's a very old friend."

Meanwhile, as Salman Khan stopped to pose for the snaps before heading to leave the place in his car, the cops were quite elated and can be seen smiling all along in the viral video.

Salman wore a maroon sweatshirt and black pants and looked dapper as usual. However, other reports suggest that his visit to the office was due to the procedure related to the physical verification in the context of his application seeking weapon licence.

Lawrence Bishnoi gang have threatened 56-year-old actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan with death via a letter that said the father-son duo would meet the fate of Sidhu Moose Wala, who was shot dead in broad daylight near his ancestral village on May 29.

The news of the threat came to light few days post Salman¡¯s security beef-up after gangster Lawrence Bishnoi emerged as the key accused in late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala¡¯s murder case.
