Allu Arjun Made A Grand Entry At India Day Parade In New York, Did Iconic Pushpa Step With Mayor
Ye Bharat ka tiranga hai, kabhi jhukega nahi, said Allu Arjun at India Day Parade In New York. He also did his iconic Pushpa step with Mayor Eric Adams.
The man who became a national sensation with Pushpa: The Rise, Allu Arjun recently represented India as the Grand Marshal at the annual Indian Day parade in New York. He wore a white Jodhpuri suit that he paired with a tricoloured handkerchief, thus representing India's culture at its best.
Holding a tricolor in his hand, he was beaming with pride.
What's more? During the parade, he addressed the people and said, "Ye Bharat ka tiranga hai, kabhi jhukega nahi".

Allu Arjun also met New York Mayor Eric Adams. Not just that, he also taught him the Pushpa hand brush signature move.
Sharing the photos, he penned down a heartwarming note. "It was a pleasure meeting the Mayor of New York City . Very Sportive Gentleman. Thank You for the Honours Mr. Eric Adams . Thaggede Le ! @ericadamsfornyc @nycmayorsoffice (sic)," he wrote.
As India marks its 75th year of Independence, the PAN India star is acknowledged with the coveted title of Grand Marshall in the parade which was also shown on the LED Screens at Times Square. This is one of the proudest moments for India, as an Indian actor represents the country globally. While he marked his presence in this mega parade, his fans trended him as #GrandMarshalAlluArjunAtNYC on social media.

Meanwhile, after basking in the success of Pusha: The Rise, Allu Arjun will soon begin shooting for the sequel of the movie. Pushpa 2 will also star Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles.

Talking about his role, Fahadh Faasil said, "My character was about to appear in the second part of the film. But then one morning the director of the film sukumar sir called me and said 'I want to give a teaser. I had to do one scene initially which later turned into two and a half scenes. He also said that he has never done such a character before, it was a strange character."

Pushpa 2 has gone on floors in Hyderabad. A pooja ceremony was held for the same. Allu Arjun who is in the US will soon join the cast and the crew. The film will hit the screens in December 2023.
