Annu Kapoor's reaction on Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha
The actor who essayed the role of a doctor in Vicky Donor has been promoting his show Crash Course. While interacting with the media, someone asked him about the controversy surrounding the movie that also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. That's when Annu Kapoor said, " What is that? I don't watch movies. I don't know."
Kapoor's manager says, "No comments."
Annu interrupts and says, "No comments nahi. Movie he nahi dekhta mein na apni na parayo ki. Mujhe pata bhi nahi hain yeh kaun hai sach much. Toh mein kya bata paunga ki kaun hain woh. I have no idea (It's not about ¡®no comments¡¯. I don't watch films, be it mine or of others. I honestly don't even know who he is, then how can I tell you anything about him)."
People were shocked at his reaction. "Why you work in movies then", a person wrote in the comments section.
Another one wrote, "Why are you asking him about Lal Singh chadda ? Amir khan is Mr perfectionist, entire world knows Amir khan. I am sure no one knows anu Kapoor outside India."
"Wah kya acting kr raha hai...", read another comment.
"Overacting ki kaat 200 rupeee", wrote another user.
Annu Kapoor had recently confessed that he did some films only for the sake of money.
The Jolly LLB star told Hindustan Times, "I feel frustrated from the inside, but what can I do? I have to run the kitchen, I have to look after my family. I am not Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, or Salman Khan, I am just a very small, struggling actor, even after 40 years. And in this country, nobody is bothered about how talented or dedicated you are, as long as you are handsome, and you have done a couple of films as a hero. It¡¯s fine."
In Carsh Crouse, which is all set to be released on Amazon Prime Video, Annu Kapoor essays the role of a ruthless businessman.
