Actor Nassir Khan, who has been a part of movies like Baghban recently took to his social media account and expressed his need for work. He posted a video of himself telling casting directors that although he would love to work on projects with them, he would no longer be able to give auditions . The 55-year-old actor said that he is happy to work but without doing any auditions. He mentioned his name, age and height too in the video while asking for work.
Nassir Talks About His Second Innings
Back in 2022, Nassir spoke to Etimes about coming back to the entertainment industry. He said, ¡°From 2008 to 2015, I was out of the entertainment industry and worked with a US-based technology company. I was completely disassociated from the entertainment industry. Suddenly, the company crashed and there was a fallout among the investors. I was left high and dry with nothing in hand. But I never cried or slipped into depression. I am very positive and headstrong. I was prepared for a new beginning. So, returning to showbiz was the only option I had. My second innings in the entertainment industry began in 2016,¡±

Well, this is not the first time an actor has taken to social media to ask for work.
Back in 2017, Neena Gupta had taken to social media and asked people to give her work. She had written, ¡°I live in Mumbai and working am a good actor looking for good parts to play.¡±
Talking about the same, she told IndianExpress, "I got married and I thought ¨C ¡®let me enjoy married life.¡¯ I was working 24/7 before that and I had no time to enjoy myself, go to a beauty parlour or see a movie or meet people. So, I thought, ¡®Chalo maine ab bohot kaam karliya hai (I have done enough work). Now, I have found a good guy. Now, I will enjoy my life and relax."
Neena gupta asks for work
"But what happened was that I realised that jinke liye main ye sab kar rahi hun (the people I did everything for), they didn¡¯t have time for me. People were always busy with their things. So, I realised that it is wrong and that I have to work because it is the most important thing in everybody¡¯s life. I realised I needed to work. So, I put up that post. And Badhai Ho happened. And I was back,¡± she said.
