As per IANS. ¡°Elvish Yadav case Update: Court considers Sections 8, 22, 29, 30, and 32 of the NDPS Act. However, the court did not accept Section 27 or 27A of the NDPS Act, and these sections were removed from Elvish's charges. A bail hearing in the case may take place in court today.¡±
In addition, as per reports, imposing these sections was a 'clerical mistake.'

What Is The NDPS Act?
The Parliament of India passed the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, also known as the NDPS Act, which forbids anyone from production/manufacturing/cultivation, possession, sale, purchasing, transport, storage, and/or consumption of any kind of narcotic drug or psychotropic substance.
Section 27 Of The NDPS Act
As per Narcoticsindia.nic.in, Section 27 is Punishment for consumption of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance.
On the other hand, 27A is punishment for financing illicit traffic and harboring offenders.
Elvish Yadav snake venom case: Noida Police arrests two more suspects
Two additional people have been arrested, according to the Noida Police, in connection with the suspected illicit use of snake venom. This comes days after Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav was taken into custody.
Residents of Haryana named Ishwar and Vinay have been identified as those who were arrested, according to ANI.
Elvish Yadav and five other people were arrested on November 3rd, 2018, at the Sector 49 police station under the Wildlife Protection Act (WPA) and Section 120 B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code for allegedly providing snake venom to partygoers in Noida for their purported recreational use.
