Kerala is witnessing one of the worst floods ever. The torrential rains have so far claimed 324 lives. With roads inundated, thousands stranded and displaced, the condition is only getting worse.
However Kerala CMO revealed there have been close to 1500 relief camps that have been set up and people are being constantly air lifted. From politicians and stars, everyone is urging the rest of India to contribute in their own little way.
Esha Gupta too turned towards her followers asking them to help people stuck in Kerala floods. Posting a video on Instagram, Esha Gupta is speaking for the people and animals who are suffering.
In her post, she writes, "Social media is a great platform to exchange ideas and promote brands but today lets use this tool for humanity. Today I speak for Kerala, for the people and animals who are suffering and stranded daily. Many are stranded in Kerala, with no food, clothing, shelter or a way of transport to the now flooded airport. YOU CAN CHOOSE TO HELP. I urge you to donate money food clothes whatever you can in your own way, no one needs to know how much and what, lend a helping hand because you can. Kerala needs us, humanity needs us. They are right now cut off from the world with no one other way but choppers reaching out for supplies. Let¡¯s stand together #Humanityforkerala"
That's not all. On Twitter too, Esha retweeted CMO Kerla's tweet regarding the floods and hopes the nation will help too.
