Just like the last time, when Sonu Nigam had to face the dire consequences ¨C which led to a Fatwa issued against him, him getting bald and quitting Twitter, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi also had to bear the wrath of Twitter users who in the name of freedom of speech went ahead to the extent of abusing her and slut shaming her.

But Suchitra wasn¡¯t taking it easy. After posting about what comments she received from random people on Twitter, she took the matter to the police station and lodged a police complaint, after which four people have been booked apparently.
"Based on her complaint, police registered a case under IPC sections 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 67 (a) (punishment for publishing or transmitting of material containing sexually explicit act), against four persons," a TOI report quoted a senior police official as saying.

But the bigger question here is that -- when will people understand that Sonu Nigam's and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi's fight is against the use of loudspeakers in the morning and that they have no problems with people praying at 5 am.
