After 37 years of marriage, actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja are said to have split up. While Govinda has been prominently absent, Sunita has recently made a number of appearances in the media.
Sunita Ahuja, Govinda's wife, has been discussing over the past few months how hard it is to live with someone who is so famous. People were wondering if there was trouble in paradise after some of her comments went viral. As of right now, after 37 years of marriage, Govinda and Sunita have reportedly split up. Despite the lack of official proof, there are rumours that are going about and have taken off like wildfire.
Sunita Ahuja and Govinda divorce reason
As reported by Zoom TV, the couple has been living apart for a while. Regarding the divorce rumours, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have not yet released an official comment yet and nothing has been heard from their kids either.
According to reports, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have grown apart as a result of their divergent lifestyle choices.
Bollywood Now claims that Govinda's divorce is the result of an alleged affair with a Marathi actress however this too is only a rumour and nothing solid is known about it yet.
What Govinda¡¯s manager said
As per Etimes, they contacted his manager Shashi Sinha who was quoted saying, "There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain members from the family. There is nothing more to it and Govinda is in process of starting a film for which artists are visiting our office. We are trying to resolve it.¡±
When Sunita talked about living separately
In an interview last month, Sunita, Govinda's wife, disclosed a significant thing. Ahuja confessed the two pretty much live in different places. According to Sunita, Govinda resides in a house across from the apartment where they live with their kids.
