Irrfan Khan Had Donated Funds For COVID-19 On Condition Of Anonymity, Confirms His Friend

It's been one a month since Irrfan left for his heavenly abode. Even after a month, it's odd to talk about Irrfan in the past tense. Irrfan might not be with us physically but he's very much alive in each and every heart.

Be it his co-actors or his friends from Krishna colony in Jaipur, everyone misses Irrfan and is expressing how it'd still take a long time to digest the news of his demise.

Ziaullah, a resident from Jaipur bared his heart out and spoke about his close friend Irrfan. He shared special details about his 'kindest' friend, who he is sorely going to miss forever.

Talking to Pinkvilla, Irrfan's close friend and neighbor raved about his simplicity and why he was loved by everyone.

Everyone in Jaipur's Krishna colony loved Irrfan as he never behaved like a 'celebrity'. Ziaullah said,

"One of the reasons why his neighbors remember him fondly is because he was a simple man. He used to meet neighbors and talk to them nicely. He used to inquire about them. Whenever he used to come to meet us, he would mostly talk about patangbazi (kite flying) and laugh. He used to be a kid in front of kids. You could never make out that he was such a big star."

While talking about Irrfan's kindness and generosity, Ziaullah confirmed Irrfan's contribution to COVID-19 relief. He mentioned Irrfan's clause of never letting the world know. He added,

¡°With the Coronavirus situation, we were creating funds to help people. When we spoke to his brother, he was ready to help and even Irrfan helped us with funds for poor people. His only clause was nobody should know that he has helped. As a family, they believe that the right hand shouldn¡¯t know what the left hand has given. For them, it was more important for people to get relief.¡±

Ziaullah further stated that the world would have never known about his contribution but now everyone deserves to know the kind of person he was.

"Now, I am sharing this with the world as he is no more between us. It¡¯s our responsibility to tell everyone that there are souls like this too."
